Type ratings/MCC courses

 
Basic MCC


Based on the Beechcraft B200 Kingair turbo-prop, a FNPT2 fixed base simulator at London Metropolitan University is used for this course.  Content is completed in eight days, 3 days ground school at Stapleford followed by 5 days (20 hours) simulator time at Tower Hill, London.

Advanced MCC


This course is aimed more at the student who wishes to bypass the turbo-prop route and start his airline career on a jet type.  The content is the same as the basic MCC course (8 days) but the student is introduced to the jet environment where things happen much quicker. 

At most airlines now use a simulator assessment in their selection process this course will provide twenty hours of invaluable jet experience.  In addition on this course you will be groomed on interview techniques and briefed on what airlines are looking for in prospective pilots. 

These courses are run using brand new state of the art simulator technology replicating Cessna Citation jet type.  All training on advanced MCC will be completed at Stapleford.

The groundschool will be conducted at Stapleford, and the simulators used will be at London Heathrow or Gatwick.

  • 2 days of groundschool including examination

  • 1 simulator detail - total 4 hrs

  • 4 fixed-base simulator details – total 16 hrs

Boeing 737 - 300 Hour Line Training Program


This course is operated on our behalf by Royal Air Maroc, who have an extensive route network, and students will be flying approx 80 hrs per month. This program represents truly excellent value for money.

The course consists of:

  • 3 weeks of OCC Groundschool (Operator Conversion Course)

  • 3 x 4 hr simulator details to include OPC (Operator Proficiency Check) and DGCA Licence endorsement

  • 300 hrs of Line Flying, of which approx 130 hrs will be with a Line Training Captain.

Duration 4/5 months 
£7200 NO VAT applicable and is dependant on the US Dollar ($) exchange rate at that time.
