Capt.
Colin Dobney, Head of Training |
Captain Colin Dobney is a former Stapleford student who progressed as an instructor and then onto the air-charter side of the business. He left to fulfil his ambition to fly for an airline, firstly for Sabre Airways on B737-200 then onto Ryanair as a First Officer and then a Captain.
In 2000 he returned to Stapleford to take up the post as Head of Training. With approximately 10,000 hours - of which over 5,000 are flying Boeing 737 aircraft, his flying activity at Stapleford is mostly in an examining capacity for commercial students and IR renewals. He also manages and teaches Stapleford's MCC courses.

Lisa is your first point of contact with Stapleford Flight Centre
and she will be able to give you any information and answer any
questions regarding your commercial training requirements. You
can contact her directly (during office hours) on 01708 687103.
A large part of Lisa's role is ensuring that all students
get the most out of their time here, and the very best from their
training at Stapleford.

Pogmore, CFI of Flying Instructor Course |
Keith has been flying
since 1967 and has logged over 6,500 hours in light aircraft. He
is a Flight Instructor Examiner and is also responsible for the aerobatic
and tailwheel schools at SFC. |

Earey, IR Instructor |
Steve has been instructing at Stapleford over 25 years amassing 6000 hours of which 4000 were whilst instrument rating (IR) training. |

Glover, FIC Instructor/Examiner |
Tony is authorized by the CAA to instruct and examine on our flight instructor courses. His speciality is aerobatics which he teaches here, formation flying and display flying. He has over 5000 hours of which 4500 is instructing. |

Brian came to us initially as a PPL Instructor, but has progressed over his 8 years here through CPL, multi engine and IR Instructor. Brian continues to instruct CPL, multi and IR in addition is examiner for PPL, multi engine and a 170a signatory. |

Turner, PPL Chief Flying Instructor |
Alan has been at Stapleford
for over 28 years and has over 10,000 hours flying experience. Alan is our Chief Flying Instructor for PPL
students and conducts our PPL Ground School courses.
Alan also teaches Multi Engine Ratings and
is a PPL Examiner. |

Welsford, CPL and IR instructor |
Scott is a long-serving senior Instructor in all our commercial activities. He has also assumed role of operations manager on our AOC operation, where he flies and also is a line training captain. |

| Dean Cozzolino, ME/IR Instructor and Examiner |
Dean has been teaching IR since 2009 with exceptionally good results. He has also gained approval from CAA as an examiner for both PPL and multi engine. |

| Peter Graham, IR Instructor |
Peter has recently progressed from PPL Instruction to IR. He is a product of our commercial training section, doing his CPL and IR here in 2008, he then completed his FIC here in 2009. and has worked as an Instructor here ever since. |

Geoff came to us from a background of a ATPL theory Instructor. He has progressed from PPL training to CPL and he is also involved with FI courses in the ground school element. |

Very experienced CPL Instructor who has progressed through SFC. He now has 3000 hours of which 1800 are commercial and multi-engine training. Also a senior pilot on our AOC operation, specialising in aerial photographic flights. |

Brian is a popular and experienced IR Instructor who has progressed through SFC from PPL Instructor. He has approximately 2000 hours flying time. Brian is also a line training Captain on our AOC operation. |
